Safeguarding your money and personal information is our highest priority, so we use the highest forms of technology available today. In addition, we constantly monitor all internal systems to ensure our clients are protected from fraud and/or any unauthorized transactions involving your xgold.ca account.

Here is a list of measures we have put in place to protect you from unscrupulous individuals:

  • All accounts are protected from automated password generators by a "Turing Number". These 5 characters, composed of vertical and horizontal bars and dots, are designed to prevent such technology from guessing your password.
  • An identification code that protects you from "phishing" attacks (www.antiphishing.org). At each login, once you have entered your user id and password, a 6 digit code is sent to your cell phone or pager accepting e-mails. This code is different at every login and is good for 15 minutes. This means that, even if someone has your account password, in order to access your account this person must also have the cell phone or pager on which you receive the identification code to login.
  • A signed banking authorisation is required before making any Bank To Gold transfers. This authorisation activates only the bank account(s) identified therein (with accompanying check specimen) and will only allow transfers between the activated account(s) and the specified gold account(s).
  • Bank To Gold transfers are initially limited to $300 per month. To increase this limit you must contact client services/support. Please be prepared to authenticate your identity.
